ABOUT ME

Featured Review

Molly Shaffer began telling stories (or fabricating the truth) at a remarkably young age, and she enjoys using words to transform the world around her.

At the ripe old age of twenty-one, Molly became a teacher and grew alongside her students. In the beginning of her teaching career, she battled in the trenches of primary school, and currently braves the front lines of middle school as an English teacher. Her favorite part of teaching is watching her students' fears of writing diminish as they explore the freedom of the written word.

As an author, Molly has a soft spot for epistolary novels, humorous science fiction, and tales where the protagonist pursues authenticity. She writes picture books, middle grade, young adult, new adult, and adult fiction.

Molly dwells in California with her handsome, bald, history teacher husband, their three kids, and one fantastic exchange student from Rwanda. A typical weekend at the Shaffer household involves writing, cleaning, and ample snuggle time on their overstuffed, brown, goose down couch.

Molly is represented by the fabulous Jessica Schmeidler at Golden Wheat Literary.

May the adventures begin...
